Hello everyone,
My name is Euleth Ruiz and I am working towards a Spanish major with a minor in Translation Studies. The reason I chose this major is because after I graduate, I hope to become a legal court interpreter and be that language bridge for the people that cannot be understood. I aimed towards this career path because I believe it is important for communities to have access to what they are entitled to when it comes to justice and equality despite any language barriers. Coming from a Spanish speaking household, I always saw how my parents struggled and were constantly misunderstood for not speaking the language and as I grew older, I knew I wanted to be the one to help people like them. They are the reason I want to better myself and find a profession within the translation field.
