Hello there, my name is Ronal Mejia. In the future I would like to apply translation to my daily life to give to my Hispanic community. I recently experienced an event that motivated me to pursue a career in translations even more. I saw a Hispanic older couple trying to buy some furniture, but they could only speak Spanish and no one in the store seemed to be able to speak Spanish. So, I offered to help and was interpreting for both the seller and for the couple. I should have gotten a commission because I helped to sell some furniture. Anyways, that lit passion in me because it felt so good to help. And so I want to pursue my minor in translation even more.
